3 people arrested after Rockford police recover weapons, drugs

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Police arrest three people from Rockford after officers allegedly found guns and three types of drugs during a search of homes across the city.

Jason Bryant, 29, is charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver ecstasy pills, possession with intent to deliver cannabis, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, not having a valid FOID and an arrest warrant for aggravating circumstances. drum/crowd action.

Enrique Dozal, 21, is charged with possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number, failure to have a valid FOID and an outstanding arrest warrant for aggravated battery.

According to Rockford Police, officers and detectives searched homes the morning of Oct. 31 in the 1800 block of Brownfield Road, the 300 block of N. Horace Ave. and the 1600 block of 16th Street. Police said they found three firearms, one of which had a defaced serial number, more than 28 grams of cocaine, about half a pound of cannabis, a scale, cash and more than 80 pills of ecstasy.

According to court records, Bryant is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, November 4, while Dozal and Mahone are scheduled to appear in court in early December.
