Jelly Roll got in on the action at WWE SummerSlam, making the save for Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth), and he chokeslammed Austin Theory.

Speaking on The Bootleg Kev PodcastJelly Roll looked back on his appearance at WWE SummerSlam.

“Look, I hate saying this, I’m going to get in trouble just for saying this.” I had one of the best years of my life. If I have a number one album, I had a number one album, “Saturday Night Live,” I got invited to the GRAMMYs for the first time this year, that’s all this year, and I’m 40 years, and I can still tell you that I think SummerSlam is probably the coolest time of the year. It’s just hard to beat, man. I lost weight, that’s up there too. But for me, those were big moments for me. These were inner child moments for me. I can choke someone, and they hit me in the face? A-Town Down Under goes off, doing what they do best, Grayson and Austin are just pissing people off, and I come in with a chair shot. It was cool, man,” » said Jelly Roll.

Jelly Roll also praised Austin Theory, Grayson Waller, The Miz and R-Truth. He noted that they did everything they could to make it as beautiful as possible.
