Conservative political commentator Megyn Kelly criticized businessman Mark Cuban on Monday evening for saying that Donald Trump does not surround himself with “strong, intelligent women.”

“Here I am, at a Trump rally, a strong, intelligent woman, to once again prove Mark Cuban wrong,” Kelly said on stage with Trump in Pittsburgh at his penultimate rally for the 2024 presidential campaign.

Kelly ripped Cuban’s comments last Thursday, when he was asked on “The View” about Trump not deploying former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley as a campaign surrogate:

“Donald Trump, we never see him with strong and intelligent women. Never. It’s that simple. They intimidate him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them,” the former Dallas Mavericks principal owner said. “Nikki Haley will criticize him for his nonsense regarding reproductive rights and the way he views, treats and talks about women. I mean, he just can’t have her with him. That wouldn’t work.

Cuban later apologized for his remarks, saying he knew many strong, intelligent women who voted for Trump and saying he was not referring to Trump voters, supporters or employees.
