General Hospital spoilers tease that Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) past is still a mystery. He made various comments about having brothers who bullied him and a mother who stayed with his abusive father.

But that’s really all Dex talked about his past. As much as Dex knows, he’s probably telling the truth. But there may be more to the story. Perhaps Dex was adopted by the Hellers and his real parents are unknown.

When we first met Dex, he couldn’t wait to fit in with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). Little by little, Dex began to gain Sonny’s trust. But in truth, Dex had been hired by Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to infiltrate Sonny’s organization.

Michael hoped Dex would get enough evidence to put Sonny in prison for good. Eventually, Michael changed his mind and asked Dex to stay with Sonny, but now the goal was to protect him. Unfortunately, Sonny discovered the truth and nearly killed Dex himself.

But instead of killing Dex, Sonny sent him out of town. But Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) found Dex and brought him home.

Eventually, Dex decided to join the police academy at the suggestion of Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Dex has completed his training and is now a member of the PCPD. But fans still believe Dex has closer ties to Port Charles than anyone realizes,

General Hospital Spoilers – Dex Heller and Jason Morgan Look a Lot Alike

Dex definitely favors Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Sonny’s sole executor. It is quite possible that Jason is his father from an unnamed mother who put him up for adoption. If this is indeed true, then Jason and Dex could become quite close in the future.

In fact, Dex might even leave the force to work with him. Dex would never work with Sonny again, but he would definitely work with Jason, especially if they turned out to be related.
