Polling stations are officially open for Election Day; what to know

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Polls are officially open for the day.

Voters are making their voices heard as election season culminates tonight.

From 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., voters can go to their local voting centers. Voters should remember to bring government-issued identification. This identity card will include your photo, your name, your address and an expiration date that has not expired.

Here are examples of this form of identification:

Anyone in line at 7:30 p.m. is allowed to vote.
