Black Ops 6 has a secret “Redacted” skin that looks like “Roze 2.0”

There is a “Redacted” secret operator skin in Black Ops 6 that no one knows for sure how to unlock. Given its all-black design, it’s already being called the new Roze.

With Black Ops 6 in the wild, millions of players are finding themselves stuck in this year’s CoD. For some, the task was global, with a number of streamers already achieved Prestige Master.

If you’ve ever worked, you’ve no doubt seen all sorts of unique cosmetics, even without the game’s Season 1 Battle Pass. Although one skin in particular turns heads a lot more than the others.

There’s a secret operator skin that’s slowly but surely coming into focus, one with no official name and one that no one really knows how to unlock. Yet with a blacked-out design, it’s quickly becoming one of the most sought-after in Black Ops 6.

“Redacted” Operator Skin in Black Ops 6

Listed in the game files as (REDACTED), the secret operator skin doesn’t give us any information to work with. Dataminers have dug it up, and some have seen it used in-game, but it’s unclear how it can be unlocked through legitimate means.

Currently, the prevailing theory is that it’s a surprise reward waiting at the very end of the game’s progression system. With Black Ops 6, CoD returned to the Classic Prestige fashionwhich means every 55 levels you can reset your progress to level 1. Do this 10 times and you’re in.Master Prestige‘.

Once you get into Prestige Master, a feat that only a few accounts have successfully accomplished so far, you then have 1,000 levels to play through. It is assumed that this “Redacted” skin is the reward for reaching level 1000.

Obviously, since no player has reached this insane milestone yet, it’s worth taking the theory with a grain of salt until it’s confirmed.

However, with some hackers cheating to reach the max level, the secret cosmetic has already appeared in the lobbies well ahead of schedule. Based on some initial insights, he players label it “Roze 2.0” given the Operator’s predominantly black outfit.

At the height of Warozne, Roze became the most infamous skin in CoD history. So dark that it was almost impossible to detect in dimly lit areas, players complained online for months Before the developers have fortunately adjusted its visuals.

While it’s too early to tell how much of an impact this “Redacted” skin might have in Black Ops 6 and the upcoming integration with Warzone, it doesn’t appear to be quite on the same level as Roze. Seeing the skin in the menus is one thing, but when it’s actually in the game, it doesn’t look as dark as many initially thought.

Redacted skin doesn’t look as bad in direct sunlight.
