Before Donald Trump’s victory, some predicted that Kamala Harris would win the election, and clearly, they were wrong.

A triumphant Donald Trump is delighted to have won the White House after a long battle with first Joe Biden, then Kamala Harris when Biden dropped out of the race. Trump took the stage at his election night party in West Palm Beach, Florida, and promised a “bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer and stronger” future for the country. “I won’t let you down,” he said.

Supporters cheered in the room, clapping and shouting loudly as Fox News screens declared Trump had won. One supporter, pointing and apparently crying, was heard saying: “It’s God! » as reported by the New York Post. World leaders congratulated Trump, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele.

However, before Trump’s victory, some who predicted Kamala Harris would win. Obviously, they were wrong.

Here are a few whose predictions failed:

Allan Lichtman, a historian and author with a proven track record in polling, predicted that Harris would be lucky to win in this US election race. Lichtman had argued that Harris could emerge as a “revolutionary” president who could symbolize a new era in American leadership.

The Simpsonsknown for accurately and shockingly predicting some important events, was also wrong. In a 2000 episode, Lisa was seen wearing clothing very similar to that of the veep: a purple suit, a pearl necklace, and pearl earrings. As the episode began making the rounds on social media during election season, many fans pointed out that it was an indication that Harris would win the election.

An opinion poll in Iowa predicted that Harris would score a surprise victory in the state in the presidential election. The Des Moines Register/Selzer poll is ranked among the most accurate in the United States, with a history of correct political predictions. But this time it was wrong.
