Stranger Things Season 5 will officially arrive in 2025. Netflix revealed that the global mega-hit will drop its final eight-episode season in the coming year, nearly 10 years after its 2016 debut.

The news comes at the right time Stranger Things Day which commemorates November 6, 1983, the date on which Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) disappeared into the Upside Down after being kidnapped by a Demogorgon. This date also marks the introduction of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), an extremely powerful young girl who teams up with Mike, Will’s friend (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Matarazzo Gate), and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) to find it.

The series, a love letter to classic ’80s genre films, has captured the attention of millions as strange events unfold in the fictional Midwestern town of Hawkins, Indiana. . In addition to announcing the season 5 premiere, Netflix also revealed the titles of the eight episodes of the upcoming final chapter.

Installments include: Episode 1 – “The Crawl”, Episode 2 – “The Disappearance of…”, Episode 3 – “The Turnbow Trap”, Episode 4 – “Sorcerer”, Episode 5 – “Shock Jock”, Episode 6 – “Escape from Camazotz”, Episode 7 – “The Bridge” and Episode 8 – “The Rightside Up”.

Brown, Wolfhard, Matarazzo, McLaughlin and Schnapp will all return for the final chapter alongside Winona Ryder, David Harbor, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawkeand more. Season 5 will also see the addition of The terminator franchises Linda Hamilton in a new role.

While the episode loglines remain unknown, there’s plenty to theorize from the telling titles. Additionally, the exact premiere date or month has not yet been announced. As fans wait for more news about season 5, they can also anticipate the expansion of the series. Stranger Things universe, including the stage production of Stranger Things: The First Shadowwhich will arrive on Broadway in 2025 and is currently playing in London’s West End.
