Kamala Harris argues that Americans owe their loyalty not to a president or a party, but to the Constitution, conscience and God.

“My allegiance to these three parties is why I’m here to say: While I admit this election, I don’t admit the fight that fueled the campaign,” the vice president said.

“The fight for freedom, for opportunity, for fairness and dignity for all. All fight for the ideals that are at the heart of our nation, the ideals that reflect the best of America.

“This is a fight I will never give up.”

She says she “will never give up the fight for a future where Americans can pursue their dreams, ambitions and aspirations, where American women have the freedom to make decisions about their own bodies.”

Gun violence is also a fight Harris says she will never give up, nor “the fight for our democracy, the rule of law, for equal justice and for the sacred idea that each of us, no matter who we are or where we start, we have certain fundamental rights and freedoms that must be respected and defended.”

This fight will continue, she told her supporters.
