Jacksonville Jaguars Star Limited during first practices of Week 10

The Jacksonville Jaguars have released their first injury report of the week, and the franchise’s most important player is on it.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was limited Wednesday with a shoulder injury, the result of a hard hit he received in the first half of last week’s defeat. Lawrence was the last player to leave the locker room at the start of the second half, although he didn’t miss a beat.

Lawrence suffered several injuries last season, including a sprained knee, a shoulder injury and a concussion.

“Yes, I have learned a lot in my few years of dealing with injuries throughout the season. Number one, what’s the best way to do it, how to prepare and get the right amount of work that you need,” Lawrence said before Wednesday’s practice.

“Every injury is different as well. So there are times when you can do more work than other weeks. I think all of those things have a role to play. But yeah, I’ve been there, so I think I have some experience. I know what I felt has helped me in the past I know what I may have been missing or needed more of from past experience. So yes, that’s part of this job, part of this game. Everyone has to find their own way to overcome injuries and prepare to play on Sunday.

Tank Bigsby, Gabe Davis, Travis Etienne, Andrew Wingard, Maason Smith, Brian Thomas Jr and Daniel Thomas were also limited for the Jaguars.

Non-participants included Ezra Cleveland and Brandon Scherff.
