PHOENIX – Phoenix police investigate double shooting nearby 24th Street and McDowell Road in Phoenix.

Police are still searching for the suspect. At 8:15 p.m., the scene was still active.

This happened on North 26th Place near McDowell.

Police recordings block off a few houses and their attention is focused on one house in particular.

Police said two men were shot and had to be taken to the hospital.

One person suffered life-threatening injuries and the other suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are on scene to investigate.

A Community Assistance Program van arrived around 7 p.m. this evening.

It’s unclear what led to the shooting and whether the two people knew the person who shot them.

We are also awaiting further information on the wanted suspect.
