Need answers for New York Times Connections Puzzle? In my opinion, Word is more of a vocabulary test, but Relationships is more of a puzzle. You are given 16 words and asked to group them into four groups that are connected in some way. Sometimes they’re obvious, but game editor Wyna Liu knows how to trick you by using words that can belong to multiple groups. Read on for today’s Connections tips and answers.

There is also news in the world of Connections. The Times now has a connection botlike the one that has existed for some time for Wordle. Go there after playing to receive a numerical score and have the program analyze your answers. And players registered in the Times Games section can now go wild tracking their progressincluding the number of puzzles completed, win rate, number of times they achieved a perfect score, and their winning streak.

How to play Connections

Playing is easy. Winning is hard. Look at the 16 words and mentally assign them to matching groups of four. Click on the four words that you think go together. The groups are color coded, although you don’t know what goes where until you see the answers. The yellow group is the easiest, then green, then blue and purple is the hardest. Look carefully at the words and think about the associated terms. Sometimes the link only concerns part of the word. Once, four words were grouped together because each one began with the name of a rock band, including “Rushmore” and “Journeyman.”
