(KGTV) — A story that seems hard to believe claims that Internet searches for “has Joe Biden dropped out” surged on Election Day, indicating that a number of people were just to discover that he did not show up.

This is actually true.

According to Google Trends, searches for “has Joe Biden given up” began increasing around 6 a.m. on Election Day and continued to increase throughout the day until reaching their peak at midnight.

It then started to rise again around 8 a.m. the next day.

Before election day, such searches had hardly taken place.

President Biden, of course, abandoned his re-election bid in July.
