The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official timetable for the Engineering Services (Prelims) Examination (ESE) 2025. Candidates can now view and download the UPSC ESE Prelims 2025 timetable from from the Commission’s main website – upsc.gov. In. According to the notice, the preliminary examination will be held on June 8 next year. The UPSC ESE Prelims test will be administered in two shifts. Paper 1 will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Paper II will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

During the first shift, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., candidates will appear for the Engineering Aptitude Examination (Paper-I) and General Studies Examination. There will be 200 marks on this objective test and candidates will have two hours to complete the exam.

The discipline-specific Paper II will be taken by candidates from the civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics and telecommunications engineering departments during the second shift, scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This objective exam, with a total of 300 points, must be completed within three hours.

Meanwhile, the online registration process for UPSC ESE Prelims 2025 exams is underway. Interested candidates can apply for the test at upsc.gov.in. Applicants can submit their application form before November 22 this year. After the registration process, the application correction center will be open to applicants from November 23 to 29, 2024.

UPSC ESE Prelims Exam 2025: Steps to Apply

-Visit the main UPSC website atupsc.gov.in

– Find and click on the UPSC ESE 2025 registration link, on the home page.

– First of all, register on the portal and then proceed to the application form.

– After filling the form, pay the essential fees and upload the documents (if necessary).

– Check all details and submit the form as requested.

Candidates who have passed the preliminary exam will be invited to appear for the main exam, scheduled for August 10 next year. This recruitment review will fill 457 vacant positions within the organization.
