WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Thursday’s opening event also served as a fundraiser for a good cause.

Besides the usual food, drinks and socializing, the event also brought in money for the nonprofit Casa of Red River.

Tracey Denson said it’s important for local business owners to support local causes.

“Oh, that’s one of the things we always try to do is get involved in the community. Because they’re the ones who support us and our business, and we support the community, just giving back makes you feel good, and that’s what we love,” Denson said.

The event raised $324 to help Casa achieve its goal of helping children who have been abused or neglected.
