To celebrate Rodri and Aitana Bonmati winning the Ballon d’Or, EA FC25 is hosting a special in-game event that gives players the chance to win free rewards.

EA FC 25 has already hosted many Ultimate Team Promotionssuch as On the way to the knockouts And Pioneersand there are many more to come. But with the Centurions During the upcoming event, the developers also confirmed a special weekend-long campaign inspired by this year’s Ballon d’Or.

Here’s everything you need to know about the EA FC 25 Ballon d’Or weekend.

EA FC 25 Ballon d’Or Weekend Start Date

The Ballon d’Or Weekend event begins on Friday November 8, 2024in EA FC 25. It will launch at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET / 6:00 PM GMT, along with the first batch of Centurions promo players in Ultimate Team.

The end date for the event has not yet been confirmed, but we expect it to be Monday, November 11.

Ballon d’Or weekend

When you first log in to the EA FC 25 Golden Ball Weekend, you will be presented with two separate player choices containing special nomination cards on loan. The first will be a choice between a male player in the running for this year’s award, while the second will be a female player.

Once your choice is made, these Global Loan players will be added to your club for the duration of the event and you will be able to add them to your squad. Once the Ballon d’Or Weekend is over, they will be permanently deleted.

You’ll need to complete a series of in-game objectives that revolve around your candidate cards, like scoring goals or winning matches with them on your team. By checking off these challenges, you will earn free packs to open and permanent items for your club.

It has been confirmed that Ballon d’Or nominee cards will not be available in packs, so the only way to obtain these items is to loan them from players.

All players nominated for the Ballon d’Or

There are a total of 20 Ballon d’Or nominee cards in EA FC 25, 10 on the men’s side and 10 on the other. Although it has not been officially announced who will be up for grabs, it is likely that it will be the top 10 of the two actual votes for the Ballon d’Or.
