JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has updated the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 website with the latest information. Students interested in details about JEE Main 2025 can visit the previous JEE website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The previous year, NTA had moved from the original JEE website – jeemain.nta.nic.in – to a new website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. However, this year they started using jeemain.nta.nic.in again.

The initial change to the website last year was to facilitate a new NTA platform. “Earlier, NIC (National Informatics Centre) used to manage online application forms for JEE Main. Now, NTA has created its own platform and is in the process of moving to an in-house server for tasks like hosting applications, generating city fact sheets, admit cards, scorecards, etc. “, explained a senior official of the NTA to indianexpress.com. The 2024 platform also featured an automated chat assistant, accessible in the lower right corner, to assist students with their inquiries.

The reason for the recent switch to the old website for JEE Main 2025 has not been disclosed. The current website aims to provide seamless navigation to specific exam sections, improving accessibility for all candidates.

Additionally, for JEE Main 2025, the NTA has announced the removal of optional questions from Section B, which were added temporarily during the Covid-19 pandemic. The move has sparked mixed reactions among students, teachers and coaching centers, many of whom are concerned about how it could affect preparation methods.
