The issue some fans raised with this post was that Kelce shared the photos on Wednesday, a day after the former President Donald Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris to become the 47th President of the United States.

While several other comments criticized his post, some users defended him.

“It amazes me that some of you think he shouldn’t post about his soccer game today because the election didn’t go the way you wanted it to,” one comment read. “This is a football page, not a politics page. Can’t anyone post anything other than their dissatisfaction with the election? Get out of here with that. There are enough places on social media to talk about politics .”
