The arrival of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s season 1 launch date means there are a whole host of new things to do and achieve online. In addition to Warzone’s traditional multiplayer mainstays and updates, Zombies mode offers players several new things to earn.

This is the first content release for Black Ops 6setting the stage for the seasons to come and what we can expect for the future. From this initial breakdown, the Zombies game mode sees a large amount of content arriving, but it will be divided into several parts. It’s unclear how this plays out, but we’ll know more when the first season arrives, followed by the reloaded first season a few weeks later. The full breakdown of minor details was shared by the Black Ops 6 team on their blog site. This content is expected to drop throughout the season, which means don’t expect it to arrive on launch day, November 14. Instead, expect a more in-depth blog post closer to Season 1 Reloaded, halfway through, in early December.

Here’s everything you can expect to see in the first season.

• 18 additional upgrades
• A craftable support weapon, the Hand Cannon
• A new ammo module with six augmentations
• A new card, Citadel of the Dead
• A new type of enemy
• A new field upgrade with six improvements
• An additional Perk-A-Cola is offered at Der Wunderfizz machines in Terminus and Liberty Falls
• Directed mode added to Liberty Falls and Terminus
• New Wonder Weapons
• Three Gobblegums

This upcoming content offers new ways to play Black Ops 6Zombies mode like offers new unlockable augmentations for various field upgrades. Seeing this type of support in the first season is a great way to keep this mode fresh. However, it is postponed until early December, giving players plenty of time to work on the highly anticipated War zone liberation, more Multiplayer mapsAnd Ranked game. The Hand Cannon should also provide some fun ways to blast hordes of zombies, depending on its power.

The biggest announcement is the arrival of the Citadel of the Dead, the first new map added to the game. Located in an unknown location in Europe, the map is at the center of a partially destroyed castle and a medieval village. For everything resident Evil fans, this could be a fun way to explore the game, with plenty of unique secrets and Easter eggs to discover.

The events of the Citadel of the Dead follow the plot of Terminus. If you haven’t yet completed the larger story, the new directed mode offers a guided walkthrough to complete the story, but limits the game to 15 turns. You’ll need to work quickly, but the process should make it easier to see everything that’s happening at Terminus than trying to do it yourself without any guidance.

Hopefully this is what we can expect over the next few months. Black Ops 6 and all new seasons. We probably won’t get a new map every season, but it could happen every couple of seasons, bringing new ways to play existing maps with additional weapons, augmentations, enemies, and wonder weapons. This is only the first new season for Black Ops 6but the team got off to a good start.
