Vice President Kamala Harris is “fighting” for what?

Kamala urges her supporters to keep fighting. For what, exactly? Do they wish Trump and his trash success? Certainly not. She never found a clear explanation for her policy goals or legislative agenda, other than “return to Roe.” She didn’t even suggest she would reinstate Trump’s border protocols and procedures to stem illegal flows. Presumably, she will return to San Francisco and “fight” from there. This town can definitely use some of its woke ideas, because it has its own problems.

The media must remain independent and impartial

About six months ago, I wrote a letter to the editors of another newspaper about the media’s complacency in covering up Biden’s mental acuity. They avoided it, rejected it and turned a blind eye. The letter was never published. Obviously, there could have been many reasons why this wasn’t the case. But isn’t it interesting now, after all the turbulence and especially the electoral defeat, this appears to be a cause of this failure. To me, this reveals the media’s protection of those aspects of society “that they deem to be in our best interests.” Nothing can and should replace the search for facts and truth and their factual, unbiased and fair communication to both sides of every issue. I hope that this is a landmark event and that the free press will remain so, independent, honest and impartial.

No more media distortions

Rex Huppke’s November 7 opinion column, “Voters re-elect Trump, a totem of the worst among us” is one of the most condescending and anti-American I’ve read in a long time. However, coming from a condescending elitist, I guess that’s what we, the American people, can expect from those who think they are better than us.

More than 70 million loyal, hard-working Americans said we have had enough of elitists who think they are above us, as Mr. Huppke’s column confirms, and we have chosen to have again a government that works for the American public to make this country great again. Even an elitist should respect that. I lived four years under Trump and four years under Biden/Harris. There is no competition. Biden/Harris was a disaster.

And the media distortions he claims are sad to hear from someone who calls himself a columnist. But we’re still in America, so we all have the right to have our say.

Congratulations to those who saw through the smoke and mirrors

Voters spoke through a megaphone. Americans want their needs and concerns heard and met. For too long, the mainstream media has ignored their cries. The incessant gaslighting, lies, and cover-ups about what was really happening in our country have harmed everyone here and around the world. They now fear retaliation from Trump. Perhaps they feel guilty knowing that they biased their reporting to favor Democrats and hide the truth. A TV commentator said she could be in a “detention camp” within a year. Others expressed similar fears. This is narcissism on steroids! With so much work to be done to repair this divided nation, do they really believe that they are so important that the president would lose even a nanosecond?

Congratulations to all of you who saw through the smoke and mirrors. Hopefully these news sources will develop a conscience and tell it like it is. It would be nice to have honest reporting from all sides.
