President Joe Biden guarantees a “peaceful transfer of power”President Joe Biden delivered a speech to the nation in what was his first on-camera appearance the day after Donald Trump’s decisive victory over Kamala Harris.

With projections made in most states across the country, ABC News predicted that former President Donald Trump would win the high-stakes presidential matchup against Vice President Kamala Harris. Early Wednesday morning, Trump secured enough Electoral College votes to prepare for a second presidency, including flipping the key swing states of Georgia, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

PA Secretary of State Says At Least 100,000 Ballots Are Outstanding

There are “at least” 100,000 votes outstanding in Pennsylvania, in the midst of a tight Senate race between incumbent Sen. Bob Casey and his Republican challenger David McCormick, Secretary of State Al Schmidt said Thursday evening.

According to Schmidt, this count includes “provisional, military, overseas and Election Day votes.”

“We call for patience as poll workers continue to do this important work, particularly in elections where margins are very tight,” he said.

Trump announces his chief of staff

Donald Trump announced that he had chosen his campaign manager, Susie Wiles, as White House chief of staff, the president-elect said in a statement released Thursday.

President-elect Trump announced his chief of staff.

“Susie Wiles helped me deliver one of the greatest political victories in American history and was an integral part of my successful 2016 and 2020 campaigns,” Trump said.

President Biden has no plans to pardon his son Hunter Biden, according to WH

President Joe Biden does not plan to pardon his son, Hunter Biden, who was convicted of federal gun charges, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre reiterated during a press briefing on Thursday.

Hunter Biden is expected to be sentenced next month.

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said he would decline if asked to be Trump’s chief of staff during an interview earlier this week on Guy Benson’s Fox News radio show .
