Nelson Dilipkumar is currently promoting his first production venture, Bloody Beggar, starring Kavin in the lead role. In an interview with KS Ravikumar, titled The KSR Show, the director confirmed that his next film will be Jailer 2 with Rajinikanth.

Director Nelson revealed that he doesn’t have any other films planned in between and will work with Rajinikanth’s film next. However, the director was also asked if the superstar had any other projects after his film Coolie with Lokesh Kanagaraj, to which Nelson laughed and replied, “That’s for you to ask, sir himself.”

For those who don’t know, reports of Rajinikanth and Nelson joining hands again have been doing the rounds for quite some time. The duo’s second collaboration is set to be a follow-up to their hit 2023 project. Gaoler.

The first film starring superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role featured the actor in the role of a retired watchman who leads a picturesque life with his family. However, things change when his police officer son goes missing and is presumed dead.

Subsequently, the father goes on a revenge spree that eventually turns into a robbery as well. Apart from the superstar, the film also had actors like Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vasanth Ravi, Mirnaa Menon, Yogi Babu, Sunil and many others in key roles. Additionally, the film also had appearances from actors Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar and Jackie Shroff.

Moving forward, Nelson is currently involved in his first venture as a producer called Bloody Beggar. The film directed by Sivabalan Muthukumar in his debut venture is a dark comedy-drama starring Kavin in the role of a beggar.

The film which focuses on the misadventures that a beggar has to face also has actors like Redin Kingsley, Maruthi Prakashraj, Sunil Sukhada, TM Karthik and many others in supporting roles. The Tamil language film is scheduled to release on October 31, 2024, coinciding with Diwali this year.

Moving forward, Rajinikanth is currently working on his action film Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The upcoming film also features stars like Nagarjuna Akkineni and Upendra Rao in key roles with Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir and Sathyaraj also playing important roles.
