The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has released the admit cards of candidates who applied for Group A, B and C posts. Candidates can now access and download their admit cards directly from the official BIS website at bis.gov.in. The call letter for the online examination will be accessible on the website until November 21.

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 345 vacancies in various positions, including critical roles such as Personal Assistant (PA), Deputy Director (AD) and Senior Secretarial Assistant (SSA).

Steps to Download BIS Group A, B and C Exam Admit Card

Step 1: Go to the official BIS website at bis.gov.in.

Step 2: On the home page, select the Careers link.

Step 3: This will open a new page where candidates need to click on the BIS Admit Card 2024 link for Group A, B and C posts.

Step 4: A new page will appear, prompting candidates to enter their login details.

Step 5: Tap Submit and your admit card will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Check the admit card details and then download it.

Step 7: Print the copy for future reference.

Timetable for BIS group A, B and C exams, model:

The exam is scheduled for November 19 and 21. On November 19, the assistant section officer exam will take place in Team 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Shift 2, which took place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., will be reserved for the positions of junior secretarial assistant and personal assistant. Shift 3, which runs from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., will cover technical assistant, stenographer and assistant positions. On November 21, the Senior Secretarial Assistant, Deputy Director and Senior Technician exams will be held in Shift 3 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The online exam will consist of 150 questions, each carrying a score, lasting a total of 120 minutes. Except for the English section, the questionnaire will be available in English and Hindi. Each question will have five options, of which only one is correct. Points will be deducted for each incorrect answer; more precisely, a quarter of the points for each question will be subtracted for each incorrect answer given.
