Consortium of Law Universities warns CLAT candidates against fake websites


New Delhi:

THE Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) has issued a notification warning candidates about fake websites that may publish false and unauthorized information regarding CLAT admission. Alerting candidates, the NLU Consortium has said that it is not responsible for any CLAT information published on third-party websites or social media.

An official notification from the NLU Consortium reads, “CLAT candidates are hereby informed that some websites/blogs/social media are publishing false and unauthorized news regarding CLAT admission process and admit card. The NLU Consortium is not responsible for any CLAT information published on third-party websites or social media.

The consortium mentioned that candidates are advised to strictly refer to the official website www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in for all official information regarding the admission process and exam related updates.

The consortium also noted that it reserves the right to take legal action regarding any false information spread through unauthorized channels, including private websites and social media handles.

CLAT candidates are advised to rely only on the official notifications published on www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The announcement of the admit card and associated instructions will be made only from November 15, 2024. The consortium will notify the candidates through messages, after which they can be downloaded.
