PopStroke, a miniature golf and entertainment center with two locations in the Valley, is considering a third, this time in Gilbert.

Florida-based PopStroke, whose investors include golf legend Tiger Woods and golf equipment company TaylorMade, is planned on 4.25 acres of vacant land near Ray Road and Santan Village Parkway, near Topgolf and Main Event, another family entertainment venue featuring bowling and arcade games. and other activities.

“PopStroke will complement the SanTan Village entertainment district and will also enhance existing retail, hospitality and restaurants adjacent to the proposed use,” wrote Ty LeSueur, the project developer, in a submission to the city .

The venue is proposed to be the only fully indoor PopStroke in Arizona. The company has two other locations in Scottsdale and Glendale, which have indoor and outdoor spaces. The 64,000-square-foot building will feature two 18-hole mini-golf courses and an indoor clubhouse with a full-service dining room and bar. The sites also have other lawn games like cornhole and ping pong tables.

Mini golf courses are designed like traditional golf courses with fairways, greens and bunkers. Players can keep score using the mobile app.

Prices for a day pass vary depending on the day, but the Scottsdale location costs $35 for adults on weekends and $30 on weekdays.

PopStroke and the city are still working together on design guidelines for the development, Keith Newman, Gilbert’s senior planner, said during a study session for the city’s planning commission in early November. City documents do not specify a timeline for construction or opening of the location.
