Man rushed to hospital after being hit by vehicle on South Side

SAN ANTONIO – A man was rushed to the hospital in life-threatening condition after police say he was struck by a vehicle during a possible road rage incident on the South Side.

The incident occurred around 7:53 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Southeast Military Drive.

According to San Antonio police, a man and woman were crossing a northbound intersection when the man was struck by a vehicle.

Police at the scene said they were investigating another call that may involve the suspect vehicle, a Chevrolet truck, which fled the scene.

The 33-year-old victim was rushed to hospital as his life was in danger. Police are currently on scene awaiting investigators and detectives.
