    Jaguars defense must come together to get upset win in Week 10

    The Jacksonville Jaguars will have an uphill battle in Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings. The season for both teams is going in opposite directions. The Jaguars are 2-7 and the Vikings are 6-2.

    If the Jaguars want to win this game, they will have to do so without starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who is expected to be out with a shoulder injury. They will also need to make some stops on the defensive side of the ball.

    The Jaguars defense showed they can play at a high level and keep the team in the game. The defense will need timely takeaways, as they did last week.

    “We just have to execute,” said Jaguars defensive end Travon Walker. “We have to do our job. That’s why we all have to come together on the defensive side of the ball. And let’s just say third down, short yardage, goal line, whatever it is. We just have to come together and all be of mutual agreement and let’s do our 11 as a unit.

    The Jaguars coaching staff has done a good job preparing the defense for the offense and quarterback they will face week in and week out.

    “We have a lot of great guys. Sometimes it might be Mac or the other quarterbacks we have. But I feel like everyone on our roster has the athletic ability to go out there and make run the ball, run around and be free… that’s what they did.”

    Walker is coming off a great game in Week 9 and is trying to do the same in Week 10.

    “My personality, it’s just the way I’m set up. My mindset. My athletic ability has a lot to do with it. My speed obviously, it’s something you really can’t train, but for me, it’s more about my speed. my mentality and the love I have for football in general. I don’t play football just for the money.
