Donald Trump’s historic victory already makes it feel like morning again in America

It just happened: the end of the world has been postponed.

Despite the laments of Democrats and their media spokespersons, Donald Trump landslide victory This is the radical course correction that our nation and the entire free world desperately need.

Its broad scope offers the promise of progress on so many fronts that it already feels like a return to Morning in America.

Immediate benefits include both domestic and foreign gains.

These are examples of the “Trump effect” and should be seen as down payments on future progress.

U.S. stock markets are surging in anticipation of his free-market economic policies and half of a migrant caravan in Mexico en route to the U.S. has turned around due to Trump’s mass deportation plan .

The turnaround came after he warned Mexico’s president that he would impose 25 percent tariffs on her exports unless she stopped the caravans before they reached the U.S. border.

The fact that the Democrats have formed a circular firing squad in search of a culprit is also good news.

Nancy Pelosi, who helped get President Biden removed from the ticket, complains that the party got it wrong by not Kamala Harris go through a primary process before nominating her as a candidate.

Do you think?

The backlash of the radical left

Others focus more aptly on how the party’s radical agenda has turned off so many Democratic supporters.

Ritchie Torres, the savvy Bronx congressman, got straight to the point, writing on Blacks, Asians and Jews. nonsense like “Defund the Police” or “From the River to the Sea” or “Latinx.”

This defeat is causing even some of the left-wing media’s most prominent cheerleaders, including MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, to belatedly realize that inflation mattered to voters after spending months echoing MSNBC’s stupid assertion. the White House that Bidenomics was a success.

As for disappointments, the only one so far is that the stupid celebrities who promised to leave the country if Trump won haven’t kept their word.

Come on, Barbra Streisand, lead the way in Canada.

And take Cher and cry Jimmy Kimmel with you.

In the end, it doesn’t matter whether they stay or go.

What matters is that Trump’s policies will strengthen America both economically and militarily – and that will have repercussions around the world.

A prime example of what happens when America leads with force is the report that Qatar told Hamas leaders they must leave the country.

It is in fact a death sentence because wherever they go, Israel will find them and kill them.

Happy days.

More broadly, the fate of terrorists around the world is linked to what I believe will be the most important aspect of Trump’s foreign policy: his plan to end Iran’s ability to sow chaos and its quest for nuclear weapons.

The reasons for his attention are strategic – and personal.

The revelation Friday of the federal indictment that exposed an Iranian government plot to assassinate Trump showed how far the radical Islamic regime is willing to go in its quest for power.

This is the second Iranian plot to assassinate Trump that the federal government has foiled, the first occurring in August.

Their silence is deafening

The president-elect didn’t need another reason to attack the mad mullahs, but now he has one that is indisputable.

Attempts to kill him are the ultimate act of hostility against America and aimed at interfering in our elections.

It is telling that the Biden-Harris administration has said little about the plots and its compliant press has treated them as heated events.

Why then?

Imagine how they would have handled attempts to kill Biden or Harris.

Simply pointing out the difference gets to the heart of the matter: Iran is not trying to kill weak Democrats in the White House because they are a source of wealth and do not interfere with the evil agenda of Iran.

Likewise, the mullahs fear that Trump’s return will spoil the party.

At least he just needs to step down and liberate Israel, something Biden and Harris have refused to do.

Under their leadership, the murderous Iranian regime reaped hundreds of billions of dollars in oil revenue because the White House effectively lifted economic sanctions imposed by Trump.

Much of this money has gone directly to Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and other terrorist groups that attack Israel and our troops in the region.

Iran has also financed attacks against our Arab allies, such as Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

And the mullahs have made common cause with Russia in its war against Ukraine and continue to help the Syrian butcher, Bashar al-Assad, massacre his own people and the Kurds.

Finally, Iran has made major progress in its attempt to build nuclear weapons, and the current administration has no response other than to continue bribing it with gifts.

This policy is an automatic copy of the Obama-Biden policy, which aimed to convince and bribe Iran to adopt more moderate positions.

This effort failed miserably years ago, but it nevertheless continued out of weakness and a desire not to be closely tied to Israel and particularly Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In this context, the election of Trump comes at the right time.

Attempts to kill him must spell the end of the most despicable government on the planet.

Its goal, as the mullahs have repeatedly made clear, is to destroy Israel, which they call the Little Satan, and then the United States, the Big Satan.

Trump’s counter-approach envisions a world in which Iran is just another oil-rich country, without horrific ambitions.

Its people would finally be free after having lived under a murderous and repressive regime since 1979.

No nuclear weapons, no problem

Trump said this on Tuesday.

After voting, he told reporters that he was “not looking to harm Iran.”

He added: “My terms are very simple: they cannot have a nuclear weapon. I would like them to be a very prosperous country.

For its part, Iran denies having launched these assassination plots, with its foreign minister calling for “confidence-building” measures between the two countries.

If it sincerely means it, Iran has easy ways to prove that it wants peace.

It can begin by demanding that Hamas leaders surrender and release their hostages, including the four American citizens still detained in Gaza.

Iran should abandon any goal of eliminating Israel and immediately cease its attacks.

He must also order Hezbollah to stop firing on the Jewish state and withdraw its troops further north toward Lebanon, as it promised to do years ago in a U.N. resolution.

After that, Iran will have to prove that it is not building nuclear weapons by opening all of its nuclear facilities to unlimited international inspection – and keeping them open at all times.

It’s a tall order, but with Trump in the White House, Iran has no other good choice.

When he understands this, Trump will win an elusive peace and prove once again that American strength is the only path to a more secure world.
