It’s a return to the Ulster competition for Antrim champions Cargin this afternoon as they look to make up for last year’s quarter-final disappointment against Glen.

Tomás McCann was shown a red card at Celtic Park that day, but his card has since been rescinded, meaning he is free to start in attack for Toome’s side.

However, four weeks after their county final triumph over Portglenone in extra time, manager Ronan Devlin announced the changes with Jamie Gribbin, David Johnston and Eunan Quinn for Benen Kelly, Conan Johnston and Tom Shivers.

Another change will see John Carron start in midfield in place of Gerard McCann who limped out of the county final in the first half, but he is fit for a place on the bench.

As for Errigal Ciaran, manager Enda McGinley makes two changes from the side that started last week’s preliminary round win over St Eunan’s with Pauric Traynor in place of Padraig McGirr up front, while From a late change, Thomas Canavan replaces Ciaran Quinn and that could invite some positional switches when they line up.

Ben McDonnell was the hero for champions Tyrone last week with three late scores to earn his side a thrilling win and he is partnered in center field by Joe Oguz.

In attack there is plenty of talent with the Canavans, Darragh and Ruairi a focal point, while Peter Harte brings plenty of experience.
