Boy suspected of being ‘world’s youngest serial killer’ made the subject of chilling demand after being arrested – Crime

Warning: This article contains discussions of child deaths that some readers may find distressing.

A child who has been described as “the world’s youngest serial killer” has made a bizarre request to police after being arrested and questioned over several murders.

The allegations against Amarjeet Sada began in 2007, when a mother living in a small village named Mushahar in Bihar, India, reported that her six-month-old daughter was missing.

After a short search, the girl was found dead.

The case is gruesome enough on its own, but things got even scarier when it emerged that Sada allegedly told locals he was responsible for strangling the little girl and may even have led them up to his body.

Sada would then have revealed even more shocking crimesclaiming he had also murdered his own sister, aged eight months, and a cousin aged six.

Sada himself was only eight years old and Yahoo! Entertainment reports that his parents tried to protect him from the police after the first two murders, of which they allegedly became aware.

But Sada’s confession regarding the third death prompted police to take him into custody, and NDTV shared footage of the young boy outside a police station.

This shocking case attracted the attention of true crime podcaster Stephanie Soowhich detailed the events that occurred once Sada was in custody.

Soo told his supporters: “When the police are sitting across from a serial killer in the interrogation room, it is not uncommon for serial killers to ask the police for things. They say, “Oh, before you start talking, before you confess.” crime, so these families can turn the page, maybe I can buy a cigarette. »

“A lot of them like to ask for these things because it gives them a feeling of power.”

Although he was only eight years old, Sada would have followed this pattern in formulating his own request: he wanted tea and biscuits.

It wasn’t a cigarette, but the simplicity of the request stood in stark contrast to the brutal nature of the crimes Sada was accused of, making it hard to believe he could even think of a treat while being held for murder .

Once her request was granted, Sada gave more details about the six-month-old’s death, saying: “She was sleeping at school. I took her a little further away, killed her with a stone and buried it.

“I took her and killed her with a brick,” he continued, according to Soo. “I actually didn’t feel much enthusiasm when I tried to strangle her, because she didn’t fight back. That’s why I chose the brick.”

The police expressed the belief that Sada suffered from “psychiatric disorders” and, as he was under the age of 18, Sada was placed in a remand center in the nearby town of Munger.

Sada was reportedly released at the age of 16 to live under a new identity.
