MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. Law enforcement agencies must fight terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking and illegal immigration, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a video speech on the occasion of the Personnel Day of the Ministry of the Interior.

“Dear comrades, today Russian citizens expect even greater dedication and better performance from you in all key areas of your work,” the head of state said. “They expect you to be firm against terrorism, drug trafficking, illegal immigration and to make our roads safer,” Putin noted.

“We must also be proactive in suppressing extremism in all its forms and manifestations. It threatens our sovereignty, our constitutional order and human security,” added the head of state.
