NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man crashed his car into the side of a building after being shot in south Nashville Monday morning, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

The shooting was reported at 6:18 a.m. on Woodbine Street at Nolensville Pike.

Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed the man was shot while inside a vehicle and called 911. Photos from the scene show the vehicle crashed into the side of a building.

The man was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. At this time, no information on a possible suspect is known.
