Liam Gallagher claims Oasis would ‘wipe the floor’ with other bands on their worst day

While it’s been 15 years since Oasis last played together, Liam Gallagher assures skeptics that they still have it.

On Sunday, November 10, the “Better Days” musician, 52, opened up about how he thinks Oasis could “wipe the floor” with most other bands in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

“I was asked a ridiculous question yesterday so will OASIS be as good as it used to be because when some bands get together it’s not as good anymore,” Liam wrote. “I said, look here, CT, even on our bad day, we’ll still wipe the floor with the majority of the BUMBACLART LG x groups.”

Liam and his brother Noel Gallagher – who reportedly had a backstage argument at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009 that led to Oasis’ breakup and have fallen out publicly in the years since – are set to hit the road for a reunion tour in 2025 .

In August, the duo announced their long-awaited Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour with several stadium dates across the UK and Ireland next summer.

“The guns are silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” the band “Champagne Supernova” said in a reunion tour statement, according to a statement obtained by PEOPLE.

“This is it, it’s happening,” Oasis added. an Instagram post tease the return.

The band will kick off their comeback tour at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on July 4-5, before heading to the Gallagher brothers’ hometown of Manchester to perform at Heaton Park for four dates on July 11, July 12, 19 and 20.

The British rockers will then perform at London’s Wembley Stadium for four more dates on July 25-26 and August 2-3, before stopping at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on August 8-9. They will finish their stage at Croke Park in Dublin. August 16 and 17.

Additionally, Oasis has confirmed the release of a Deluxe 30th Anniversary Edition of their classic album Certainly maybe.

In September, the group “Don’t Go Away” also confirmed they would come to the United States16 years after the group’s last North American performance.

After completing their tour across the UK and Ireland, Oasis will head to Rogers Stadium in Toronto on August 24, 2025, before visiting Soldier Field in Chicago on August 28, MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on the 31st. August and the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles. on September 6 and the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City on September 12.
