The first five episodes of Season 3 of “The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On” premiere Wednesday, December 4 on Netflix, with new batches each week until December 18.

Six new couples faced with an ultimatum must make the decision of their lives.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive first look at the highly anticipated third season of The ultimatum: get married or move ona whole new group of partners will put their relationship to the test to determine if their union is meant to be.

“I love love and I feel like everyone has a soul mate. I just want to experience as much love in my life as possible. I would love to start forever now,” Mariah said, a marriage hopeful, in the trailer as she kisses her longtime partner, Caleb.

Vanessa has a similar mindset, telling the cameras: “I want to get married. I want someone to make me feel like I’m the woman of their dreams, the person they choose to start their life with, to start a family, to buy their first house with it. I want it all!”

“At the end of this experience, I hope my partner chooses me the same way I chose her,” Scotty admits before the scene shifts to see Vanessa’s partner Dave crying and standing on a sofa.

During one-on-one conversations with their original partners, Scotty asks his girlfriend Aria, “Why do I have to fight for you to love me?” while Caleb tells Mariah: “It’s time to see if the grass is greener on the other side.”

While some couples develop feelings for their new partner, others remember the reasons why they love their partner. Kisses are exchanged and skepticism begins to mount. At one point, Zania said to her partner JR, “I don’t know where your lips were.”

Eventually, emotions threaten to boil over when couples realize how high the stakes are.

“I’m putting my whole relationship on the line,” Aria says, wiping away tears as Nick tells JR, “She looked at you the same way she looked at me.”

The clip continues and Nick tells Aria in the car, “It’s hard to watch the person I love with someone else.” As he becomes emotional about the situation, she responds, “Love is not enough.”

Towards the end of the clip, some proposals are accepted and others fail, but one thing remains the same for all couples: “At some point, we’re going to have to decide whether to do this or not to do this?”

Chanel (27 years old) and Micah (28 years old). Micah delivered the ultimatum.

David (34 years old) and Vanessa (30 years old). Vanessa delivered the ultimatum.
