Patrick McAvoy’s experiences include local and national sports writing in baseball, football and basketball. He has covered the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees, New York Mets, Philadelphia Eagles and Boston Celtics throughout his career.

Outside of journalism, Patrick also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Brandeis University and studied communications and business at Merrimack College, where he received his bachelor’s degree.
