The Democrats have cried a lot since Tuesday, but the causes of this “surprising” defeat seem clear.

How was Trump able to beat Kamala (note that Trump is usually referred to by his last name and Vice President Harris by her first name)?

For the second time, an extremely skilled woman was beaten by a white carnival barker. Is it possible that much of the country isn’t quite ready for a female president?

In 2016, far-left Democrats stayed home because they didn’t like the way Bernie Sanders was being treated by the DNC. In 2024, far-left Democrats stayed home because they didn’t like Biden/Harris’ Middle East policies. So they taught the Democratic Party a lesson, and we ended up with Donald Trump again.

It seems outraged Democrats are willing to sacrifice the future of the country and perhaps the world to score moral points rather than win.

Democrats must decide whether the results matter or whether they should stick to self-righteous outrage. Our children depend on it.
