Chloe Fineman says Elon Musk made her cry while hosting ‘SNL’

Chloe Fineman recalls an alleged incident in which she said that Elon Musk made her cry.

In a TikTok now deleted video Fineman, 36 years old, actor on Saturday evening liveaccused the SpaceX founder and Tesla CEO, 53, of making her cry when he hosted the long-running sketch show in May 2021.

She began the Monday, November 11, video by expressing that she wanted to speak out after seeing articles about Musk “being hurt in the ass SNL and its impression.”

The entrepreneur recently spoke to the show so reply to a message on of Dana Carveythe impression he has of himself after the 2024 presidential election.

“SNL has been slowly dying for years, as they become more and more out of touch with reality. Their last-ditch effort to cheat demands for equal airtime and support Kamala before the election has only contributed to further sink his @nbcsnl campaign,” Musk wrote.

Fineman, for his part, said Monday: “I was like I’m not going to say anything, but I’m like, no, if you go on your platform (X) and be rude, guess what? You told me Chloe Fineman actually burst into tears because I stayed up all night writing this sketch,” Fineman said.

“I was so excited, I walked in, asked you if you had any questions and you looked at me like you were kicking me out of Tesla and said, ‘That’s not funny.’ I was waiting for you to say, “Haha, JK.” Then you started flipping through my script, like you were turning every page and saying, “I didn’t laugh, I didn’t laugh once. , not once,” she continued.

Although Fineman didn’t reveal which sketch she was referring to, she did say it aired on the show and “everything was fine.”

“I actually had a really good time and I thought you were really funny, but, you know, have some manners here, sir,” she added.

His message arrives three months later SNL personality Bowen Yang revealed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that a former male host made several cast members “cry” because he “hated the ideas” he was given.

PEOPLE has reached out to a representative for Musk for comment.
