Da Les shares update after suffering stroke

Multi-award winning rapper Da Les gave his first update on his health after suffering a serious stroke in July.

DA LES IS GRATEFUL TO BE ALIVE

In a statement released by his team and shared on his Instagram account, the rapper, whose real name is Leslie Mampe, expressed his gratitude for being alive, saying: “he owes everything to God.”

According to the release, Da Les is currently undergoing rehabilitation and is slowly recovering with the help of his family. This update comes after a video of him in a wheelchair has gone viral online.

“He expresses his deep gratitude for being alive, saying it is a true miracle and thanks God for his strength. “I owe everything to God,» he said.

“HEALING TAKES TIME”

The rapper expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support, kind messages, prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery.

“Da LES is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, support and prayers from his fans, friends and everyone who has reached out to him. He will continue to update everyone on his healing process and appreciates all the encouragement.

“Healing takes time, but he remains positive and focused on a full recovery,” reads the statement.

FANS WISH HIM A QUICK RECOVERY

Her fans and industry colleagues flooded the comments with messages of support, urging her to stay strong and keep fighting.

DA LES MISSES HIS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

In July, the rapper was unable to attend his 39th birthday party after suffering a stroke at his Johannesburg home.

His family released a statement regarding his condition, saying: “Even though his condition is stable, this remains a difficult time for his loved ones. The family is calling on the public to keep them in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time..”

We are happy that he is making a steady recovery.
