A search of a residence east of Healdsburg that uncovered drugs and firearms led to the arrest of a 68-year-old man, Healdsburg police said.

The incident Thursday morning occurred when a search warrant was served at the residence as part of an ongoing investigation into drug sales, according to a news release.

During the search, police discovered two revolvers, ammunition, several bags of a substance suspected to be methamphetamine, as well as packaging and sales supplies, including a “significant quantity of plastic bags individual transparencies,” the press release states.

Kerry Bergman of Healdsburg was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance while armed with a firearm; possession of a controlled substance for sale; being a felon in possession of a firearm; and being a person prohibited from owning or possessing ammunition, the press release states.
