Family searches for 12-year-old girl in Houston and fears she may be a victim of trafficking

A Houston Family searches for their 12-year-old daughter after she ran away from home. They are afraid that she is now victims of trafficking.

On Monday around 10 p.m., HPD officers responded to a welfare check reported by the girl’s parents, who believed their daughter was at a gas station on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in South from Houston.

When authorities arrived, the vehicle they were looking for – a black Chrysler 300 – fled the scene.

After briefly losing sight of the vehicle, the car was later found, sparking a chase.

Shortly after, the suspects fled the scene.

Officers arrived at a home on Longwood Garden Way and arrested everyone inside, hoping to find the victim and the man who was driving the car in the chase. Unfortunately, neither were found and they remain missing.

HPD sources said the girl was black and approximately 4’11” tall and weighed 120 pounds. Her family said she suffered from mental health issues.

The man she is supposedly with is only described as being in his early 20s.

Anyone with information on the girl’s whereabouts is asked to contact HPD at 713-308-0080.
