No injuries, damage reported in fire northwest of Fort Collins

A wildfire broke out northwest of Fort Collins on Tuesday, briefly causing Mandatory evacuation orders for Larimer County residents living near Ted’s house.

The flames burned about 15 to 30 acres and were brought under control in about 2 hours, the Poudre Fire Authority said in an article on X.

The fire that burns near the Ted’s Place Gas Station at Colorado 14 and U.S. 287, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office issued mandatory evacuation orders for people living in the area of ​​North County Road 29C, but sheriff’s officers lifted them shortly before 3 p.m.

No injuries or damage to the building were reported and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
