The only Krispy Kreme location in the Milwaukee area is at West Allis, at 2900 S. 108th St. It opens at 6 a.m. Wednesday.

World Kindness Day is celebrated every year on November 13. Launched by the Global Kindness Movement in 1998, it is about “celebrating good deeds in our communities because kindness is what unites us all”.

“World Kindness Day reminds us that we can all make a positive impact in people’s lives, including through small gestures like sharing a treat,” said Dave Skena, global brand director for Krispy Kreme, in a press release. “We hope that each dozen original glazed donuts we offer enables and inspires dozens of small acts of kindness.
