NSW Shadow Health Minister Kellie Sloane has slammed the Minns government by warning its new industrial system is “failing”.

“It’s a failure because the nurses are being disrespectful and ignoring their lure, the nurses won’t go back on their pay offer, Labor is saying they won’t pay anymore – it’s a dead end,” said Ms Sloane at Sky News Australia.

“This impasse means we are seeing today, across the state, elected and planned surgeries canceled for hundreds of people.

“This is happening because of the Labor government’s inability to negotiate with nurses.”
