VAIL, Ariz. (KGUN) — The Pima County Sheriff’s Office and Cienega High School announced reports of a student armed with a gun near the school.

PCSO said all suspects are currently in custody and no weapons have been found.

“We immediately partnered with the Pima County Sheriff and found that a threat against our campus was not viable,” Cienega Principal Kim Middleton said in a statement given to parents.

The school remains sheltered in place to allow a search.
