Hims & Hers Health, a telehealth company, plans to offer a generic version of Novo Nordisk’s diabetes drug liraglutide on its platform in 2025, according to a Reuters report.

“We have already confirmed a primary supplier for this addition, and over the next few months we plan to complete batch testing and validation, as well as confirm certificates of analysis,” the company said, according to the report .

Liraglutide, used to treat type 2 diabetes under the brand name Victoza, belongs to the first generation of drugs called GLP-1 agonists, which reduce appetite and help control blood sugar levels.

Hims & Hers currently offers compound GLP-1 injections for weight loss at $199 per month and oral medication kits for weight management at $79 per month.
