Pro-Trump tech CEO mulls congressional bid to fill Stefanik’s seat, identifies New York’s ‘biggest problem’

A pro-Trump tech CEO is taking his political engagement to the next level by seriously considering a congressional bid to fill New York Rep. Elise Stefanik’s seat when she joins the Trump administration in January.

Anthony Constantino, CEO of Sticker Mule, who is a strong supporter of President-elect Donald Trump, joined “Fox & Friends First” to explain why he thinks he would be the best candidate for Congress, what his priorities would be if elected, and what he sees as New York’s “biggest” problem he could solve.

“I like to solve big problems,” Constantino told Todd Piro on Wednesday. “I correctly identified that the biggest problem in America before the election was what I call anti-Trump hatred. The biggest problem in New York is people are leaving, and we have to bring the Republicans to regain control of New York to get People back. It’s not good for anyone for New York to become a one-party state.

“We need strong Republicans in New York who encourage people to come back,” he continued.

Trump confirmed to the New York Post this weekend that he named Stefanik to represent the United States at the United Nations (UN) during his second term.

“I am honored to nominate President Elise Stefanik to serve in my Cabinet as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Elise is an incredibly strong, tough and smart fighter for America First,” said the president-elect at the Post.

Stefanik happily accepted the nomination, telling the Post: “I am truly honored to secure President Trump’s nomination to serve in his cabinet as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. During my conversation with President Trump, I shared how deeply honored I am to accept his nomination. nomination and look forward to winning the support of my colleagues in the United States Senate. The historic landslide election of President Trump has brought hope to the American people and a reminder that better days are ahead, both at home and abroad.

Stefanik’s nomination paves the way for a special election to fill her 21st Congressional District seat to follow it. Successful re-election last week. She won with more than 24% of the vote against her opponent, Paula Collins.

Piro asked Constantino why he thought he would succeed in the Capitol if he became a lawmaker representing the Empire State.

“I think for the same reasons, President Trump was good for (the) job,” Constantino responded. “He’s an outsider. He has great skills and I got involved in politics for the right reasons. The bullet hit President Trump and I jumped on it, and I stood up for him, and I have done everything I could since then to try to defend it, which resulted in a landslide election.

“Since I got involved, I have been able to see for myself the realities of the political world,” he continued. “The reality is a lot of people I call political creatures, some are talented, some aren’t, but I know I have a good brain. I have quite a bit of talent. My phone has has been blowing up like crazy since Elise had her situation…a lot of interesting people have called me, including Roger Stone, who has been very supportive.”
