A Syracuse man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a drunken driving charge.

John D. Lansing, 37, was arrested at 2:22 p.m. at the Onondaga County Jail. The warrant, issued by Ontario County Court Judge Karle, stemmed from a previous DWI case.

Lansing was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he is being held on remand. He is scheduled to appear in Ontario County Court on Wednesday morning.
