JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – One person was found dead at St. Domonic Hospital Thursday.

According to DPS spokesperson Bailey Martin, Capitol Police responded to the scene around 7:13 p.m. regarding a deceased subject on hospital property.

Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart ruled it a suicide.

The identity of the person has not been released and the matter remains under investigation by Capitol Police.
