HUNTSVILLE, AlabamaWAF) – This afternoon some sunshine will break through the clouds with a light northwest breeze at 15 MPH. Temperatures will be much cooler with temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Tonight is mostly cloudy and cool. Mid to late 40s.

Friday through Sunday each day will be mostly sunny and after a cool Friday with a high temperature only in the 60s, temperatures will reach around 70 degrees on Sunday. Overnight low temperatures will be mostly in the 40s.

Big changes are coming next week. After a warm and mostly sunny day Monday with temperatures in the 70s, a strong cold front will bring a chance of rain Tuesday, Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning. Tuesday will be warm in the morning and early afternoon with a high temperature in the 70s before temperatures drop quickly in the evening and overnight. High temperatures for Wednesday, only in the mid 50s. Next Thursday and Friday, sunny and cold. High temperatures will be mostly in the 40s, with overnight low temperatures in the 20s and 30s. The coldest temperatures since last winter are expected mid to late next week.
