Are the Tennessee Titans on Deion Sanders’ ‘list’ for Shedeur?

THE Tennessee Titans could very well decide to draft a quarterback in the spring. After all, he looks like Will Levis Isn’t that the answer?and the Titans will likely end up with one of the top picks.

Naturally, Colorado Buffaloes star Shedeur Sanders has been called a potential candidate for Tennessee. Many consider Sanders to be the best quarterback in the 2025 draft class, and Titans fans are already salivating at the prospect of adding him.

But would Deion Sanders allow it?

Deion already said that he will step in and stop a team from drafting his son if he doesn’t think it’s the right fit.

“Yes, but I won’t do it publicly, I’ll do it privately,” Sanders replied when asked if he would stop a club from taking Shedeur.

So who could his son play for then?

“Someone who can handle the quarterback he is. Someone who can understand what he’s capable of,” Sanders said. “Someone who has had success in the past with quarterbacks or someone in an organization who understands what they’re doing, doesn’t just throw you among the wolves.”

Do the Titans fit this description?

Based on the fact that the Tennessee organization isn’t exactly highly regarded at the moment, you’d think Deion would instantly give the Titans a big “no” if they tried to draft Shedeur.

Additionally, Tennessee is a very small market.

We’ve seen players refuse to play for teams before, so this wouldn’t be unprecedented. Deion has seemed pretty determined from the start to run the place Shedeur plays, so if the Titans have the opportunity to select the Colorado product, we have to be prepared for a potential no-go.

Tennessee has shown a willingness to spend money to try to improve, but the problem is the Titans front office doesn’t seem to be making the best decisions. Their spending spree on free agents in 2024, for example, resulted in a 2-7 rating. this season.

Don’t think for a second that Deion isn’t well aware of this, nor is he probably the biggest fan of the weapons Shedeur would have at his disposal in Tennessee.

The Titans have a legitimate chance to end up at No. 1 overall in April. While Shedeur may seem like an obvious choice to some, it may not be that simple.
